Job summary

Harbord OOSH seeks an experienced Practice Lead – Curriculum & Inclusion to drive educational excellence and inclusive practice across Before School, After School, and Vacation Care programs in the Newcastle to Central Coast region.

The role reports to the Centre Director, mentoring staff, reviewing practice and leading inclusion initiatives to support every child’s wellbeing and learning, both on-site and during travel as required.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher qualification approved under Education and Care Services National Regulations.
Experience in Educational Leader, Practice Lead, Assistant Director, OSHC Coordinator or Centre Leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of MTOP, NQF, National Law and Regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead curriculum implementation and continuous improvement across the service.
Coach and mentor Assistant Directors and educators to strengthen planning and quality.
Champion inclusive practice ensuring all children participate meaningfully.
Lead development, implementation and review of Individual Support Plans and inclusion strategies.
Coordinate Inclusion Support Program (ISP) applications, documentation and funding requirements.
Provide leadership as the delegated 2IC and Secondary Nominated Supervisor when required.
