Harbord OOSH is seeking a Practice Lead - Curriculum & Inclusion to drive educational excellence and inclusive practice across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care programs in Newcastle and surrounding areas. This senior role partners with the Centre Director to empower educators and strengthen program quality.

You will lead inclusion initiatives, MTOP-aligned planning and capability-building, while overseeing educational leadership and ensuring child wellbeing across the

Competenze

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or higher qualification approved under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
• Experience in Educational Leader / Practice Lead / Assistant Director or similar.
• Strong knowledge of My Time, Our Place (MTOP), NQF, National Law and Regulations.
• Proven experience leading curriculum development and reflective practice.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs, inclusion planning and positive behaviour support.
• Strong understanding of child development and trauma-informed practice.
• Experience coaching and developing educators and emerging leaders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Collaborative leadership style focused on continuous improvement.

• Lead educational practice and curriculum implementation across the service.
• Coach and support leaders and educators to strengthen curriculum planning and program quality.
• Champion inclusive practice ensuring meaningful participation for all children.
• Lead development and review of inclusion plans and behaviour support plans.
