Job summary

University of Technology Sydney in Sydney is seeking a Careers Consultant to collaborate with Faculty partners and embed career development learning into the curriculum, ensuring a consistent student experience.

You will design, tailor and facilitate engaging learning across in-class, online, group coaching and one-on-one career consultations, and work with Employability Coordinators toward strategic goals. This full-time role offers two positions: fixed term until November 2027 or continuing.

Qualifications

• Expertise in career development learning within a university context.
• Ability to apply adult learning theories to curriculum design.
• Proven experience designing and delivering learning across modalities (asynchronous/synchronous/online/in-person).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with faculty stakeholders to embed career development in curricula.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate engaging career education that supports student learning using contemporary adult learning principles.
• Provide tailored individual and group career support across diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with Employability Coordinators and the UTS Careers team to achieve strategic goals.
