Job summary

Westpac Group is seeking an Executive Manager, Leadership & Culture to lead culture and organisational development across a large, complex banking group. Hybrid Sydney-based role partnering with senior leaders to translate culture challenges into practical solutions that drive lasting behavioural change.

You will diagnose issues, shape culture plans, and deliver leadership initiatives that shift mindsets and improve performance at scale.

Qualifications

• Significant experience driving culture change at scale in large organisations.
• Strong diagnostic capability to uncover underlying issues and shape practical solutions.
• Credibility with senior leaders and ability to influence and challenge constructively.
• Experience designing culture, leadership and behavioural interventions from concept to implementation.
• Strong facilitation skills for purposeful conversations with senior stakeholder groups.
• Evidence-led approach using data, insights and measurement to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to shape culture plans and strengthen leadership effectiveness.
• Turn complex challenges into practical, targeted interventions.
• Design and deliver culture, leadership and behavioural initiatives that shift mindsets.
• Facilitate leadership team conversations and workshops to build alignment and action.
• Use insights and measures to diagnose issues, measure impact and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate across the People Team and business to embed change and deliver sustainable outcomes.
• Constructively challenge thinking and influence change across a complex organisation.
