Mayday Recruitment Group is partnering with a brand-new private hospital on the Sunshine Coast to appoint an experienced CSSD Manager. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure high standards across sterilisation, decontamination and instrument management, and drive infection prevention in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven CSSD leadership/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of sterilisation, decontamination and instrument management.
• Excellent understanding of Australian Standards and infection prevention requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the CSSD team in a busy private hospital environment.
• Oversee decontamination, sterilisation and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, policies and infection prevention requirements.
• Manage workflow, staffing, quality and operational requirements.
• Support theatre teams and maintain strong hospital-wide relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Mentor and develop the team while fostering a positive culture.
