Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ is seeking a Senior leader to head Mount Isa Mines' Communities and Social Performance (CSP). The role leads CSP delivery across stakeholder engagement, Indigenous relations and social investment in a major mining operation.

Based in Mount Isa, the Superintendent will build strong relationships with Traditional Owners, government and community groups, and lead the CSP team to deliver on group targets and expectations for responsible social performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in community relations or Indigenous engagement within resources or related industry.
• Leadership experience with team development.
• Strong written and verbal communication with government and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead site CSP delivery including stakeholder engagement, Indigenous relations, cultural heritage and social investment programs.
• Provide leadership to the CSP team and ensure alignment with group CSP targets and expectations.
• Build relationships with Traditional Owners and Indigenous organisations and engage wide internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure CSP risk is managed within a large industrial operation.
