Job summary

Monash University seeks a Manager – Cyber Security Operations Centre to lead a 24x7 CSOC, driving performance, maturity and constant improvement across detection, response, investigations and CSIRT functions. You will standardise operating models, uplift service delivery, and align with risk and regulatory obligations while engaging senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or managing a Security Operations Centre within a complex enterprise.
• Strong ability to define and monitor KPIs and service metrics.
• Experience coordinating major cyber incidents and providing executive decision support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 24x7 CSOC performance, coordination, and continuous improvement.
• Standardise and optimise the CSOC operating model and service delivery.
• Present operational insights and risk posture to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate detection, response, investigations and CSIRT functions.
• Manage relationships with third-party providers and managed services.
