Job summary

CAMM Quarries in Townsville is seeking an experienced Crushing / Plant Operator to join our team. You will operate front-end loaders, excavators and mobile crushing equipment to support quarry operations, while prioritising safety and learning on the job.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years' quarry experience, valid White Card, and demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team. Local site work only; FIFO/DIDO not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a quarry environment.
• Proven experience operating front-end loaders and excavators in crushing environments.
• Experience with mobile crushing equipment.
• RII machinery and crushing competencies/certifications.
• Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

CAMM Quarries is seeking an experienced Crushing / Plant Operator to join our team in Townsville.

The successful applicant will be responsible for operating a range of mobile plant and crushing equipment to support our quarry operations. We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and hands-on, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders, excavators and other mobile plant equipment.
• Assist with the operation and monitoring of mobile crushing equipment.
• Support daily quarry operations to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve operational targets.
