St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, part of NSW Health, is establishing a Critical Care Outreach Nursing Team. Applications are invited from experienced Registered Nurses to join this new service as an endorsed Nurse Practitioner or CNC2 with a pathway to Nurse Practitioner endorsement.

You will provide advanced care to acutely deteriorating patients, lead early response, and work with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes across the organisation.

Formación

• Registered as a RN with AHPRA and NMBA endorsement in progress.
• Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care is required.
• Minimum five years full-time post-registration experience, three in critical care.
• Current accreditation in Advanced Life Support Training.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced assessment and management of acutely deteriorating patients.
• Lead recognition and response to clinical deterioration across the hospital.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership, education, and patient advocacy.
• Support upskilling and capability building of the nursing workforce.
