St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is inviting experienced RNs to join a newly established Critical Care Outreach Nursing (CCON) Team in Sydney. The role supports advanced assessment and early response to deterioration, with opportunities for Nurse Practitioner endorsement.

The position offers mentorship, ongoing education, and a clear pathway toward NP endorsement, along with a supportive, multidisciplinary work environment and senior clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA; NMBA endorsement as NP or working toward endorsement.
• Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care is required.
• Minimum five years full-time post-registration experience; three years in critical care.
• Current accreditation in Advanced Life Support training.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced assessment and management of acutely deteriorating patients.
• Support early recognition and response to clinical deterioration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership, education, and workforce development.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research.
