Globally, energy markets are in transition to a net zero future and the entities within these markets are transforming their underlying business models to ensure that they stay relevant, sustainable and profitable. As one of Australia’s largest energy providers, we are proud of our purpose to lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation. Our ability to deliver on this purpose will be dependent on our people.
As the energy sector rapidly evolves with electrification, renewables, and sustainability at the forefront, we are delivering innovative centralised energy solutions to meet the needs of modern communities.
About the Role
The Credit Risk Lead provides specialist direction for EnergyAustralia's credit risk assessment and fraud detection practices across our Residential, Business and C&I portfolios. This role brings together governance and continuous improvement of credit risk and fraud detection practices, serving as an escalation point for complex credit assessment decisions and helping reduce EnergyAustralia's exposure to bad debt and fraud losses across the customer lifecycle.
Working closely with stakeholders across Credit and Collections, vendors and credit bureaus, the role identifies risk mitigation opportunities, drives process and system improvements, and supports strategic initiatives that strengthen credit and fraud outcomes across the business.
This is a newly created permanent position, based at Docklands with a hybrid working environment of 2-3 days in the office per week. Please note this is an individual contributor position with no people leadership responsibilities.
