BESIX Watpac on the Gold Coast is seeking a Communications Officer (Design Support) to deliver professional design and communications assets while coordinating with stakeholders. The role blends graphic production, records management, and administration in a hybrid setup.

You’ll produce flyers, maps, infographics, reports and branding-compliant materials, manage competing requests, and support suppliers and internal teams under an AO4 Infrastructure & Transport contract.

Our client URGENTLY requires a Communications Officer – Design Support for 6months+ Contract on the Gold Coast.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Officer – Design Support to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative, communication, and design support to meet our stakeholder engagement objectives. You will play a key role in producing professional visual materials and managing communication workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Experience required includes:

• Provide administrative support for communication activities, including records management, database maintenance, and coordination of collateral.
• Design and produce a range of communication materials such as project maps, flyers, fact sheets, newsletters, and infographics, ensuring alignment with corporate branding and visual identity.
• Manage competing priorities and shared workloads through the proficient use of project management tools and systems.
• Proficiency in graphic design software and production practices to maintain high visual standards.
• Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and industry experience is highly desirable.

Government experience would be highly advantageous.
