RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort in the Yarra Valley seeks skilled chefs at CDP, Demi and Commis levels. Roles span our busy kitchens, from bistro and cafe to events catering and premium dining outlets. Join a vibrant culinary team delivering high-quality, memorable dining experiences for guests.

The team works a 7-day rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Training and career progression are offered within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Completed a vocationally accredited Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery for Commis role or higher
• Previous cooking experience in a 4–5 star hotel/resort commercial kitchen
• Knife skills, food preparation and cookery capabilities for conference & events, larder, grill, buffet and short order
• Understanding of kitchen sections, service styles, mise en place, sauces, larder and butchery
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Strong focus on food quality and presentation
• Excellent grooming and personal presentation

Responsibilities

• Produce a consistent high quality product & standard
• Maintain equipment, utensils and a clean & hygienic kitchen
• Rotate stock, ensuring minimal wastage
• Work well in a team environment and follow directions from senior chefs
• Follow WHS, policies and procedures
