Job summary

RACV City Club in Melbourne is seeking a Cook to support meal service with a dedicated kitchen team. You will deliver high-quality food and ensure smooth operation during service.

We require culinary training or relevant experience, food safety certification, and a willingness to work weekends and evenings on a 7-day roster. Uniform provided and subsidised meals on shift.

Qualifications

• Must have recognised culinary training or relevant kitchen experience.
• Food safety certification required.
• Experience in banquet or à la carte service preferred.
• Passion for seasonal Victorian produce and presentation.
• Ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced team.
• Willingness to work a 7-day rotating roster.

About the Opportunity

As a Cook at RACV, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen during meal service. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you’ll deliver high-quality food and exceptional service to our customers.

We are seeking candidates who possess or are pursuing recognised culinary training and/or have relevant experience in a reputable restaurant. A strong focus on food quality and presentation is essential.

Join our team of passionate chefs! This position includes weekend and evening shifts, with a roster designed to accommodate the peak demands of our business.

What you'll need to be successful

Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar position

Food safety certification

Exposure to either banquets or a la carte venues ideally

A passion for Victorian produce and seasonal menus

The ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced team

A desire to develop among a driven & professional team

The ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster
