Job summary

Freo Group Pty Ltd is seeking Intermediate and Experienced Crane Operators to support major projects across Australia. You’ll operate cranes on Tier 1 mining, oil & gas, infrastructure and renewables projects, bringing a safety-first mindset and reliable hands-on approach.

Ideal candidates hold CO, C1, C2, C6 and CN High Risk Licences with at least 12 months of operating experience, and may have MC/HR licences for enhanced opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CO, C1, C6, C2 and CN High Risk Work Licence.
• At least twelve months’ relevant operating experience.
• A strong commitment to safety with no shortcuts or compromises.
• Ability to follow lift plans and communicate clearly in a team environment.
• Reliable, hands-on approach with pride in work quality.
• Desirable: MC or HR driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, efficient crane and lifting operations across major projects.
• Carry out operating activities within your qualifications, competencies and experience.
• Work alongside your crew to prepare and execute lifts.
• Follow lift plans, site procedures and established safety requirements.
• Complete pre-start checks and take care of equipment.
• Look out for your crew, speak up if something isn’t right and ensure everyone goes home safely.
