Job summary

Freo Group Pty Ltd is seeking Intermediate and Experienced Crane Operators to join our team for major projects across Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Renewables. Bring the right tickets, a strong work ethic and a safety-first attitude to work on major projects with an established Australian crane and lifting business.

You’ll perform safe crane and lifting operations, follow lift plans, and work with your crew to ensure quality outcomes while maintaining a strong safety culture and reliable

Qualifications

• CO, C1, C6, C2, CN High Risk Work Licence.
• At least twelve months’ relevant operating experience.
• A strong commitment to safety, with no shortcuts and no compromises.
• Able to follow lift plans, communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
• Reliable, hands-on approach and pride in the quality of your work.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, efficient crane and lifting operations across major projects.
• Carry out operating activities within your qualifications, competencies and experience.
• Work alongside your crew to prepare and execute lifts.
• Follow lift plans, site procedures and established safety requirements.
• Complete pre-start checks and take care of equipment.
• Look out for your crew, speak up when something isn’t right and ensure everyone returns home safely.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for Intermediate and Experienced Crane Operators who know their trade, take pride in their work and back their mates. What you’ll bring

• A current CO, C1, C6, C2, CN High Risk Work Licence
• At least twelve months’ relevant operating experience
• A strong commitment to safety, with no shortcuts and no compromises
• The ability to follow lift plans, communicate clearly and work as part of a team
• A reliable, hands‑on approach and pride in the quality of your work

Desirable:

• Current MC or HR driver’s licence

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting safe, efficient crane and lifting operations across major projects
• Carrying out operating activities within your qualifications, competencies and experience
• Working alongside your crew to prepare and execute lifts
• Following lift plans, site procedures and established safety requirements
• Completing pre‑start checks and taking care of equipment
• Looking out for your crew, speaking up when something isn’t right and making sure everyone gets home safely
