Air Liquide Healthcare Australia is seeking a part-time Retail/CPAP Therapy Consultant for our Waterford West clinic. You will support sleep apnea management, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to tailor treatment plans.

The role is three days a week with a focus on customer care and service excellence. You will engage with clients at every stage, provide CPAP guidance, and help maintain equipment while contributing to a supportive patient experience in a professional healthcare

Qualifications

• Good communication skills typical in customer-facing roles.
• Experience in retail, healthcare or sales contexts is advantageous.
• Strong customer service across all stages of interaction is expected.
• Genuine interest in CPAP therapy and sleep medicine.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing clients.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations and titration studies for sleep-disordered breathing.
• Provide guidance on CPAP equipment, setup and ongoing service needs.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and support for patients.
• Educate patients and families about sleep disorders and treatment options.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Promote products and services and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain and sterilise clinic equipment.

Job description

Air Liquide Healthcare Australia are a leading and dedicated supplier of medical gases, homecare and sleep services. We specialise in respiratory diseases and have a strong reputation in sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy. We are currently looking for an experienced Retail/CPAP Therapy Consultant to join our team at the Waterford West clinic. In this role, you will be crucial in enhancing our customer care and managing sleep apnea treatments for our patients This position would be a great fit for a proactive individual who is passionate about providing excellent service in the area of obstructive sleep apnea management. As a Retail/CPAP Therapy Consultant, you will collaborate closely with physicians to create tailored and effective treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient. This position is part-time (3 days a week).

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Initial point of contact for both new and existing clients
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including titration studies, for patients experiencing sleep-disordered breathing
• Offer guidance on CPAP equipment, setup and ongoing service requirements
• Provide follow-up appointments for newly diagnosed patients and ongoing support for existing patients
• Educate patients and their families about sleep disorders, evaluation procedures, and available treatment options
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and service providers
• Promote and upsell our product range and services
• Maintain and sterilise clinic equipment

Are you a MATCH?

• Previous experience in a retail, healthcare or sales environments highly regarded
• Good communication skills
• Experience with customer service across all stages of customer interaction
• Keen interest in CPAP therapy and sleep medicine disciplines
• Strong organisational and administrational skills
