Job summary

Apollo Bay Hotel, part of Australian Venue Co., is looking for a dependable Courtesy Bus Driver to transport guests between the hotel and local pickup/drop-off locations. This role offers flexible seasonal work in a popular coastal destination and a friendly, community-focused team environment.

You will drive the 11-seat courtesy bus, perform safety checks, and ensure passengers are safe and comfortable. Victoria licence and First Aid/CPR are required, with peak-season shifts possible.

Responsibilities

Apollo Bay Hotel Love driving, meeting people and being part of a busy local venue? Apollo Bay Hotel is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Courtesy Bus Driver to safely transport patrons between the hotel and local pick-up and drop-off locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants flexible seasonal work in one of Victoria’s popular coastal destinations.

What you’ll be doing

• Safely operate the hotel’s 11-seat courtesy bus, including the driver.
• Pick up and drop off patrons safely and punctually.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Complete routine vehicle safety checks.
• Keep the bus clean, tidy and presentable.
• Follow all road safety requirements, venue procedures and passenger safety protocols.
• Represent Apollo Bay Hotel positively within the local community.

Hours of work

Off-season: Approximately two shifts per week, primarily Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Peak season: Shifts available seven days and nights per week, including daytime and evening shifts. Split shifts may be available, generally between 11:00 am–4:30 pm and 4:30 pm–10:00 pm, depending on operational requirements.

What we’re looking for

• A current and valid Victorian driver’s licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

• A reliable, punctual and well-presented approach.
• The ability to work evenings, weekends and additional shifts during peak tourist periods.
• Previous experience driving a courtesy bus, shuttle bus or passenger vehicle is desirable but not essential.
