Job summary

Australian Venue Co. in Apollo Bay is seeking a reliable Courtesy Bus Driver to transport patrons between the hotel and local pick-up/drop-off points. This seasonal, part-time role offers flexible shifts and opportunities during peak tourist periods.

You will operate an 11-seat courtesy bus, ensure passenger safety, provide friendly customer service, and perform routine vehicle checks. Prior shuttle/bus driving is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Victorian driver’s licence is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates are required.
• A safe driving history and strong commitment to passenger safety are essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and peak periods is required.
• Previous experience driving a courtesy/shuttle bus is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the hotel’s 11-seat courtesy bus, including the driver.
• Pick up and drop off patrons safely and punctually.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Complete routine vehicle safety checks.

Love driving, meeting people and being part of a busy local venue? Apollo Bay Hotel is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Courtesy Bus Driver to safely transport patrons between the hotel and local pick-up and drop-off locations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants flexible seasonal work in one of Victoria’s popular coastal destinations.

What you’ll be doing

• Safely operate the hotel’s 11-seat courtesy bus, including the driver.
• Pick up and drop off patrons safely and punctually.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Complete routine vehicle safety checks.
• Keep the bus clean, tidy and presentable.
• Follow all road safety requirements, venue procedures and passenger safety protocols.
• Represent Apollo Bay Hotel positively within the local community.

Hours of work

• Off-season: Approximately two shifts per week, primarily Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
• Peak season: Shifts available seven days and nights per week, including daytime and evening shifts.
• Split shifts may be available, generally between 11:00 am–4:30 pm and 4:30 pm–10:00 pm, depending on operational requirements.
