Job summary

Acknowledge Education is inviting Expressions of Interest for Course Coordinator – Community Services roles across its Australian campuses, including Sydney. The role reports to the Head of Department and focuses on coordinating the Bachelor of Community Services program, supporting staff and ensuring high-quality learning experiences.

Ideal candidates will have an AQF Level 9 Master’s degree, at least three years of industry experience in Community Services, and demonstrated higher education

Qualifications

• AQF Level 9 (Master’s degree) or higher in Community Work, Social Welfare, Human Services, Social Work or related discipline.
• Minimum three years' full-time industry experience in Community Services or related sector.
• Higher education experience in course coordination, academic leadership or program management.
• Strong knowledge of higher education teaching, assessment, curriculum development and quality assurance.
• Understanding TEQSA, the Higher Education Standards Framework and the National Code 2018.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain state clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating course delivery and supporting academic staff.
• Driving curriculum quality, teaching excellence and student outcomes.
• Monitoring course performance and identifying improvements.
• Supporting academic governance, quality assurance and accreditation requirements (TEQSA and Community Work Australia).
• Building strong relationships with students, academics and industry stakeholders.
