Job summary

Middy’s Electrical in Victoria is seeking an experienced Counter Sales professional to join our branch network. You will deliver friendly customer service, process transactions accurately, and support daily branch operations to help drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in electrical wholesale, POS experience, strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work well in a team. Forklift licence is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in the electrical wholesale industry.
• Previous Point of Sale experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A willingness to follow instructions while showing initiative.
• A valid forklift licence will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with product enquiries and requirements.
• Process cash and credit sales accurately in line with company policies and procedures.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to branch sales and gross profit targets.
• Support in-branch promotions, displays and identify opportunities for add-on sales.
• Manage customer quotes, credits and enquiries at the point of sale.
• Maintain high presentation standards across the counter, displays and branch.
• Build positive customer relationships and help resolve customer concerns in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
• Maintain accurate information across branch systems and support continuous improvement.
• Follow company policies, procedures and QHSE requirements.

The Role
