Job summary

Securitas Australia AB is recruiting a full-time Security Officer to join our Belrose NSW team. You will deliver professional security and customer service, protecting people, property and information at a major client site.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Security License, work a 4on 4off roster (0600-1800 and 1800-0600), and demonstrate strong communication, discretion and a professional, service-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Security License.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work to a 4 on, 4 off roster across day and night shifts.
• Experience in concierge/hosting or customer-facing roles.
• Previous security environment experience or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a security service in line with SOPs to protect employees, property and assets.
• Deliver high levels of customer service reflecting Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
• Host visitors and guests with a discreet, professional security presence.
• Ensure safety and protection of people, property and information at all times.
• Promote brand values and a positive image for the client and Securitas.
• Handle queries from the public, customers, visitors and employees.

About the role

Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an exciting position available for a Full time Security Officer to join our business and work for a very well-known global client in our Belrose NSW location.

Full time Security Officer must be able to deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service. Those with a strong customer service background coupled with a Security License are encouraged to apply.

We have a Full time position working a 4on 4off roster pattern 0600-1800 and 1800-0600

Key Tasks

• Provide a security service in line with the site SOP’s and customer requirements in order to protect the customer’s employees, property and other assets.


• Deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.


• Deliver a consistently high-end, accurate and discreet Security-focused hosting experience to all visitors, guests and employees at the designated site(s).


• Ensure the safety and protection of customer’s people, property and information always, in a knowledgeable and service-oriented manner, ensuring an unobtrusive and comfortable environment.


• Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both the client and Securitas, promoting a positive image of our customer always.


• Deal with queries from the public, customers/visitors and employees.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Must have a valid Security License


• Ability to uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness


• Excellent communication skills


• Be able to work independently, self -aware, motivated as well as part able to work as part of the team


• Be punctual and reliable


• Be proactive, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality


• Experience in a concierge/hosting/customer facing role


• Previous security environment experience and/or security awareness training
