• Greet visitors and contractors professionally, verify appointments, issue visitor badges and maintain accurate records.
• Operate the client’s Visitor Management System and manage calls, emails and general enquiries.
• Manage access badges, keys and access approvals, ensuring site rules and screening procedures are followed.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled patrols and security spot checks.
• Monitor CCTV and relevant access-control, intrusion and fire systems, reporting and escalating security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in line with site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, security records and shift handovers.

About the role

Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an exciting position available for a Full time Security Officer to join our business and work for a very well-known global client in VIC.

The Security Officer must be able to deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service. Those with a strong customer service background coupled with a Security License are encouraged to apply. We have both Full Time and Part time opportunities available for this role.

Shift Timing: Day and Night Shift- 6AM -6PM OR 6PM to 6AM based on operational requirements.

Pay rate: SSIA Level 4

Key Tasks

• Provide security services in line with site SOPs and customer requirements to protect people, property and assets.
