Job summary

MAGNT, the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory in Darwin, seeks a Corporate Governance and Operations Manager to lead governance, risk and compliance across the organisation, including Board secretariat duties and ARC Committee support.

You will oversee risk management, policy monitoring, WHS, IT and licences, while advancing continuous improvement and flexible working arrangements within an inclusive, Equal Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing governance frameworks and policies.
• Board minutes and secretariat experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of risk management and WHS requirements.
• Familiarity with IT and licences administration.

About the role

Full-time | Ongoing

Location: Darwin, NT

This position is responsible for providing a high standard of corporate governance through the development, implementation and management of effective governance frameworks. The role will monitor policies and standards, manage MAGNT’s Risk Management functions and support WHS across the organisation.

The position is responsible for management of the secretariat function for the MAGNT Board, accurately taking Board Minutes and monitoring action items; and provides secretariat support to the Audit, Risk and Compliance (ARC) Committee and external stakeholders as required.

The position is also responsible for a range of operational matters including IT, management of licences and administration.
