Job summary

Teachers Mutual Bank is seeking a Technical Banking Support Officer to join our Technology team, providing Level 2 support for core banking applications and maintaining system health. The role focuses on stability, incident triage, and collaboration with vendors and stakeholders to deliver reliable services for members.

You will work with Ultracs or other core banking platforms, contribute to disaster recovery planning, and uphold risk and compliance practices within a dynamic banking

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT industry experience.
• Experience supporting banking systems, payment services, or banking applications.
• Experience supporting Ultracs or other core banking platforms.
• ITIL certification or awareness is highly regarded.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for core banking systems and applications.
• Support and triage incidents, requests, and service issues.
• Monitor system availability, performance, and operational health.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and vendors.
• Maintain technical documentation and support processes.
• Assist with disaster recovery and emergency support activities.
• Ensure appropriate risk management and compliance practices are maintained.
