Job summary

Fiveight Venues—Copia, located in Perth's CBD, is seeking a Duty Manager to lead front-of-house operations and uphold service standards. This casual opportunity offers afternoon/evening shifts and a supportive team culture.

You will supervise staff, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver memorable guest experiences while working with the Venue Manager. Applicants must hold an Approved Manager Licence, RSA, and Food Handler Certificate; Australian working rights are required.

About the Role

We're looking for a Duty Manager to play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences and supporting a positive team culture. Working closely with the Venue Manager you'll provide hands‑on leadership across daily operations while ensuring our service, safety and hospitality standards are consistently delivered.

What's on the Offer

• Flexible casual opportunity, Approximately 30-35 hours available across Monday to Friday with a focus on the afternoon and evening shifts
• Operating Hours:
  • Monday-Tuesday 6:30am-6:30pm
  • Wednesday 6:30am-7:00pm
  • Thursday-Friday 6:30am-9:00pm.
• Shifts will generally commence from approximately 11:30am, with days and finish times varying based on operational requirements

What You’ll be Doing:

• Lead and support front-of-house operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences and high service standards.
• Coach, motivate and collaborate with the team to create a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
• Drive smooth and efficient service periods while maintaining attention to detail and operational excellence.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming and compliant environment for both guests and team members.
• Take ownership of guest feedback, venue presentation and day-to-day operational success while acting as the leader on duty.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in hospitality leadership or supervisory role
• Holds a current Approved Manager Licence (essential)
• Strong bar experience and knowledge of wines (preferable)
• Passion about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading by example
• A positive attitude, strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach
• The ability to stay calm and focused in high-energy environments
• Applicants must have current Australian working rights.
• Hold a valid Approved Manager Licence, RSA, and Food Handler Certificate
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
