State Buildings in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking a full-time Duty Manager to join our premium hospitality venue. You will support the management team, develop front of house staff, implement SOPs and ensure an exceptional guest experience across all service stages.

Qualifications

• Strong hospitality background required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational efficiency of the venue during the shift.
• Assist in the implementation of the venue's Standard Operating Procedures.
• Supervise team members to ensure a superior service and memorable guest experiences.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, policies and procedures.
• Ensure the team maintains a professional manner at all times and stays informed on VIP movements and events.
• Work closely with all departments to maximise guest experience and profitability in F&B offerings.
• Maintain relationships with Department Heads for a seamless guest experience.
• Support and assist the team to be fully conversant with all F&B procedures.

About the Role

Petition is seeking a full-time Duty Manager to support and complement our management team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step up and bring your experience into a premium setting. Support will be provided by State Buildings’ management to develop and progress your career by providing opportunities to learn and grow in the industry. Expectations would include developing front of house staff, implementing operational procedures and ensuring a spectacular guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Duty Manager your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the operational efficiency of the venue during the shift.
• Assist in the implementation of the venue's Standard Operating Procedures.
• Supervise team members to ensure they provide a superior service and create memorable experiences for guests, responding to requests, enquiries and complaints.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, policies and procedures.
• Ensure the team maintains a professional manner at all times and is up to date with VIP guest movements, hotel events, local attractions and activities.
• Work closely with all other departments to maximise experience and profitability within the food and beverage offering.
• Maintain close working relationships with Department Heads to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Support and assist the team to ensure they are fully conversant with all food and beverage procedures
