Job summary

St Catherine of Siena Catholic Primary School Prestons, part of Sydney Catholic Schools, seeks a Coordinator 2 to lead K-6 curriculum delivery in a Catholic learning environment. The role is a 2‑point promotional position, temporary up to 3 years, with a full‑time, permanent teaching component.

You will apply effective learning pedagogies, strong classroom management, and coaching to develop inclusive, rigorous learning experiences for all students, in alignment with accreditation and school

Qualifications

• Lead and implement a K-6 curriculum with best practices.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and student wellbeing focus.
• Engage in coaching and mentoring of staff.

About You

As a Coordinator 2, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. You'll bring:

• expertise in leading and implementing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• experience in leading with a coaching approach is preferred
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.
