Job summary

St Catherine of Siena Catholic Primary School Prestons, NSW, seeks a Coordinator 2 to inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, with a full-time permanent teaching role.

You will lead a K-6 curriculum, apply effective learning pedagogies, and foster inclusive, rigorous learning experiences while supporting student well-being and coaching colleagues.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation required.
• Experience leading a K-6 curriculum with effective pedagogy.

About You

As a Coordinator 2, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment.The position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. You'll bring:

• expertise in leading and implementing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• experience in leading with a coaching approach is preferred
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
