Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a Cook to join our care teams in Western Australia. You will work with the Chef to manage kitchen operations, tailor meals to residents' needs, and ensure nutritious, tasty options are provided daily.

You should hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and bring strong communication and documentation skills, plus experience in a commercial kitchen. Aged care experience is highly regarded and a passion for diverse cuisines is valued.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and documentation capabilities are essential.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred, especially in aged care.
• Ability to adapt menus for dietary and cultural needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Chef to assist with kitchen management.
• Tailor meals to meet individual resident needs and preferences.
• Ensure residents receive healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals.

As Cook you'll:

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You'll be a real team player who has:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
