Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a Cook to join our care-focused kitchen operations in Queensland. You will collaborate with the head chef to manage day-to-day kitchen duties and prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs while upholding high nutritional standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Experience within a commercial kitchen.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to adapt meals to dietary needs and resident preferences.

As Cook you'll:

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You'll be a real team player who has:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
