Job summary

Superior Food Services’ Deck Seafood Restaurant in Mooloolaba is seeking passionate Cooks and Chefs at all levels—full-time, part-time, or casual—to join our kitchen team. Prepare, cook, and plate high-quality seafood and short-order meals while maintaining kitchen organisation.

You should have 1–2 years in hotel/club industry or be keen to apprentice; RSA advantageous; knowledge of food safety required; reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in cooking/short-order/fry cooking; hotel/club industry preferred but not essential.
• RSA is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety standards is required.
• Reliable, punctual, well-presented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate high-quality seafood and short-order meals.
• Maintain stocks, order supplies, and manage kitchen organization.
• Clean and sanitise food prep areas, utensils and equipment.
• Work under pressure while delivering consistent, excellent food service.

What You?ll Do

• Prepare, cook, and plate high-quality seafood and short-order meals

Who You Are

• Experienced in cooking/short-order/fry cooking (1-2 years in hotel/club industry preferred, but not essential)
• Keen to complete an apprenticeship? We welcome you!
• Seafood experience is a bonus
• RSA is advantageous
• Skilled in deep frying
• Available on weekends, public holidays, and evenings
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, well-presented, and able to work independently
