Job summary

The Lake Illawarra Hotel in NSW is seeking a passionate and hardworking casual cook or chef to join our kitchen team. You will work with a team of fun and positive chefs to deliver pub classics and seasonal specials. We value pride, a positive attitude and a growth mindset.

The casual role offers around 20-30 hours per week, with operations 7 days a week. Experience as a Cook/Chef and a Food Safety Certificate are preferred, and you will be responsible for cooking, ordering and maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook/Chef is required.
• Cooking in all sections.
• Understanding of stock control and waste minimisation.
• Knowledge of all kitchen procedures, food handling and workplace safety.
• Food Safety Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Cooking pub/hotel food in accordance with the menu and standards.
• Placing food orders as required.
• Ensure health and safety regulations and allergen control.
