Job summary

Illawarra Catholic Club invites a cook to join our kitchen brigade with world class facilities, reporting to the Head Chef. You will help create memorable dining experiences with consistency in flavour and a variety of offerings.

Role involves work across conferencing, banquets, buffet and à la carte services, within a small team. Training and development opportunities are available as we promote from within.

Qualifications

• Cert III Commercial Cookery required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a restaurant.
• Food Safety Certification.
• Flexibility to work around a varying roster.
• Willingness to learn different sections & cuisines.
• High standard of personal morale and appearance.
• Positive and calm attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook across multiple meal services (conferencing, banquets, buffet, a la carte).
• Be part of a small team of professionals to deliver quality dining experiences.
