Job summary

Club Central Hurstville & Menai is seeking a cook to join our kitchen brigade with world class facilities. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will create memorable dining experiences, with consistency in flavour and a variety of offerings across conferencing, banquets, buffet and à la carte.

We offer duty meals, free onsite parking / 1 min walk from Hurstville station, and a roster provided two weeks in advance, plus development opportunities as we promote from within.

Qualifications

• Cert III Commercial Cookery
• Minimum 2 years experience in a restaurant
• Food Safety Certification
• Flexible to work varying roster
• Willingness to learn different sections & cuisines
• High level of personal morale and appearance
• Positive and calm attitude

Responsibilities

• Work across conferencing, banquets, buffet, and à la carte services.
• Support kitchen brigade and report to Head Chef.
• Maintain consistency in flavour and offering quality.
• Prepare meals with attention to food safety and presentation.
