Job summary

Nido Early School is seeking a Cook to join our Piara Waters team. You’ll be a hands-on educator in the kitchen, creating nutritious meals using Nido menus and modeling healthy eating habits for children.

As the Cook, you’ll purchase food and supplies, accommodate dietary and allergy needs, and maintain strict kitchen hygiene. This role supports our commitment to safe, balanced meals and a positive, nurturing environment for young learners.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is required.
• Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery is desirable.
• Experience working in a childcare or aged care setting.
• Valid WWCC (Working With Children Check) is required.

• Cook delicious, healthy and nutritionally balanced meals using our Nido Menus
• Purchase food and supplies for the kitchen
• Ensure dietary and allergy requirements and restrictions for every child are supported by having thorough knowledge of risk minimisation and communication plans
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
