The Role: Cook

• Cook delicious, healthy and nutritionally balanced meals using our Nido Menus.
• Purchase food and supplies for the kitchen.
• Ensure dietary and allergy requirements and restrictions for every child are supported by having thorough knowledge of risk minimisation and communication plans.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery - desirable.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate - required.
• Experience working in a childcare or aged care setting.
• Valid WWCC.
• Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
• Any candidate employed from 1 April must provide a certificate confirming completion of the Federally mandated ‘National Child Safety Training’ via Geccko, or must be willing to obtain prior to employment.
