Job summary

Nido Hilbert is seeking an experienced Centre Leader to guide a diverse team of educators and trainees. You will mentor staff, ensure high-quality learning outcomes, and collaborate with the Area Manager to support professional growth.

You will lead with strong communication, uphold EYLF and NQS standards, and actively engage families through Story Park to showcase child development and progress.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• 2+ years in a leadership role in a similar setting.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Police Check required.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of educators and trainees.
• Guide the team to deliver high-quality child outcomes aligned with EYLF/NQS.
• Provide guidance, leadership and support to staff under the Area Manager.
• Engage families using Story Park to communicate development and progress.

About The Service

• Stunning service located in Hilbert which is an 87 place service that opened in 2025!
• Caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old across 6 rooms and 3 beautiful outdoor play areas a piazza, sensory room, and a wet atelier
• Outstanding long standing Area Manager to guide you through your career
• Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.
• Opening hours - 6:30am-630pm - Monday-Friday

About You

• Hold a Diploma or above in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Minimum of 2 year's experience in a similar leadership position
• A Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Police Check required
• In depth understanding of the EYLF and NQS to ensure quality outcomes for the children
• Geecko training must be completed
• Provide guidance, leadership, mentorship, and support to a diverse team of educators, culinary professionals, trainees, and students.
• You have a vision to support local families and their children by mentoring and leading your team to exceptional heights
• Have strong communication skills written and verbal
