Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group is seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to residents at Rosebrook on the Mornington Peninsula. You will support the Chef with nutritious, well-presented meals and kitchen duties in a 91-bed aged care facility.

The role is permanent, full-time (minimum 38 hours/week) with guaranteed earnings not less than 79,423 AUD per annum plus superannuation. Applicants should have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and prior kitchen experience, with bulk

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• A minimum of one year’s experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred).
• Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable).
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals (advantageous).
• Strong communicationskills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team
• Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residents
• Assistwith general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment asrequired
• Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standards

Education

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher

Experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital preferred)

Bulk cooking experience

Texture-modified meals experience advantageous

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to our residents while providing kitchen and food preparation support to our Chef. This role is essential in ensuring nutritious, well-presented meals that meet the diverse needs of Residents in our care.
