Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high‑quality meals to residents at Rosebrook on the Mornington Peninsula. This permanent, full‑time role requires at least 38 hours per week, with guaranteed earnings not less than $79,423 per year plus super.

You will work under the Chef, plan and prepare nutritious meals, assist with kitchen duties, and help manage stock and supplies while ensuring food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Minimum one year in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital preferred).
• Bulk cooking experience desirable.
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals advantageous.
• Strong communication with residents, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team
• Plan, prepare, and present nutritious meals for residents
• Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to our residents while providing kitchen and food preparation support to our Chef. This role is essential in ensuring nutritious, well-presented meals that meet the diverse needs of Residents in our care. The positions are permanent, full time with a minimum of 38 hours a week with guaranteed minimum earnings (inclusive of allowances and penalties) no less than $79,423 per annum plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team
• Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residents
• Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required
• Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standards

About You

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher
• A minimum of one year’s experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred)
• Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable)
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues

Rosebrook is a beautiful 91 bed residential aged care facility is located at the base of Arthurs Seat in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. Located just 30 Mins from Frankston and 40 mins from Cranbourne. Rosebrook is an easy drive down the Mornington.
