Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group in Murwillumbah, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality meals to residents in our aged care facility Heritage Lodge. You will support the Chef and ensure nutritious, well-presented dishes.

Permanent, full-time role with a minimum of 38 hours per week and guaranteed earnings of AU$79,423 plus superannuation. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher and at least one year in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred).
• Bulk cooking experience highly desirable.
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team.
• Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residents.
• Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control.
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
• Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standards.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to our residents while providing kitchen and food preparation support to our Chef. This role is essential in ensuring nutritious, well-presented meals that meet the diverse needs of Residents in our care.
