Job summary

Anglo American Australia’s Grosvenor Mine in Moranbah seeks a Conveyor Installs Specialist to lead end-to-end conveyor belt installation and project delivery at an underground coal mine. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate resources, use the work order system and ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include planning schedules, developing specs, managing installs and overhauls, and driving continuous improvement with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trades qualification and/or higher education.
• Experience designing conveyor systems.
• Experience in mining maintenance or heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conveyor install and end-to-end project delivery for an underground coal mine.
• Provide safe, efficient mechanical engineering services to Maintenance & Engineering.
• Develop technical specs, procedures, and material/service requirements.
