Job summary

Anglo American Australia, Moranbah North Mine, is recruiting multiple Underground Operators within Development. You will report to the Development Superintendent and safely operate underground equipment to support production targets while upholding safety and cost controls.

We seek candidates with at least 2 years' underground coal mining experience, understanding of coal mining processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' underground coal mining operational experience is desirable.
• Demonstrated understanding of underground coal mining processes and machinery.
• Demonstrated experience contributing to a team of professionals to deliver against set targets.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of underground mining equipment.
• Maintaining a safe and productive mining environment.
• Applying statutory obligations as required.
• Operation of equipment to consistently deliver specified hourly targets.
• Work proactively with on-shift peers to ensure safety and productivity to agreed standards.
• Assist with maintenance activities as required.
• Maintain personal authorisations and competencies.
• Follow Anglo American safety standards and procedures.
