Job summary

Anglo American Australia’s Grosvenor Mine in Moranbah is seeking a Conveyor Installs Specialist to coordinate belt installation and end-to-end project delivery underground. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will lead installation planning and ensure safe, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification or higher.
• Experience with conveyor system design in mining.
• Mining maintenance experience, preferably coal.
• Proven leadership of a professional team to meet targets.
• Experience implementing best practices and safety compliance.
• Ability to interpret legislation and apply relevant requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conveyor install and end-to-end project delivery for an underground coal mine.
• Provide safe, efficient mechanical services to the Maintenance & Engineering department.
• Coordinate resources, use the work order system, and manage equipment availability.
• Develop technical specifications, procedures, material and labour requirements, and all mine compliance obligations.
• Assist in achieving maintenance plans and procurement for equipment.
• Coordinate conveyor overhaul and installations to meet the mine schedule.
• Provide input to mine planning meetings to mitigate production delays.
• Identify root causes of downtime and implement remedial actions with internal/external resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety, technical, operating and business systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
