Job summary

EGroup Protective Services Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Security Control Room Operator for our Melbourne CBD site. The role focuses on monitoring security systems, coordinating access, and responding to incidents in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Ideal candidates will have a Victorian Security Licence, First Aid, strong communication, and customer service skills. The position requires flexibility for a 12-hour shift on a 4/3 roster and prior security experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in security or guarding environments.
• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures.
• Knowledge of emergency management and risk identification is desirable.
• WH&S understanding and risk management ability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises via CCTV and control panels during shifts.
• Coordinate access, audits and incident reporting.
• Respond to security incidents and threats promptly and effectively.
• Maintain logs, handovers and paperwork for audits and client permits.
• Communicate with multiple stakeholders across levels.
