Job summary

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Control Room Operator for a busy retail site in Frankston. You will monitor the control room, CCTV, and access control systems to uphold safety and security.

The role requires strong observation, computer literacy, and the ability to work with security management systems. Applicants should have prior control room experience and current documentation such as a Victorian Security Licence and First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Previous control room experience is essential.
• Experience with CCTV and security monitoring systems.
• Experience with access control systems and security technology.
• Excellent computer skills and confidence working on multiple computer-based systems.
• Outstanding attention to detail and observational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the site's control room and associated security systems.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and identify suspicious activity, security risks and incidents.
• Manage access control systems and monitor authorised and unauthorised access.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, coordinating as needed.
• Maintain detailed control room logs and incident reports for investigations.
• Record and escalate incidents according to site procedures.
