Job summary

Zenviron is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support the delivery of a major Wind Farm project in the Hunter Region, NSW. Initially based in our Newcastle office, you will assist with contract administration, procurement and pre-construction activities before transitioning to site during construction.

You will build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, manage variations and progress claims, and contribute to cost control and governance across the project

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator role within construction, infrastructure, resources, energy or EPC/EPCM project environments.
• Site-based contracts administration experience highly regarded, though not essential for candidates willing to transition to site-based work.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, claims management and commercial processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, tendering, negotiation and administration of subcontract agreements and major purchase orders.
• Support project teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures and commercial governance requirements.
• Prepare, submit and manage client progress claims, variations and contract correspondence.
• Assess and administer subcontractor claims, variations and extensions of time.
• Identify commercial risks and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Assist with project cost control, forecasting and reporting activities.
• Maintain accurate contract records and project documentation.
• Build effective relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal project stakeholders.
• Provide commercial support during both office-based pre-construction activities and on-site project delivery.
