Job summary

Zenviron is seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead civil construction work on a major wind farm project in the Hunter Region, NSW. Initially based in our Newcastle office, you will support engineering, procurement and planning before transitioning to site during construction.

The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient civil package outcomes across the project lifecycle. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage earthworks and infrastructure, and drive quality, cost

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as Senior Project Engineer or similar delivering large-scale civil infrastructure.
• Proven earthworks, concrete, drainage, roads experience.
• Experience on major construction, infrastructure, energy or renewable projects.
• Strong QA, compliance and construction delivery knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors, costs, schedules and variations.
• Stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.
• RPEQ or CPEng eligibility is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil construction work packages across the project lifecycle.
• Manage earthworks, foundations, drainage, roads, hardstands and underground services.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities to hit milestones.
• Review designs, drawings and specs for constructability.
• Provide technical leadership to site teams and subcontractors.
• Manage RFIs, design changes, non-conformances and as-built docs.
• Monitor costs, productivity, and forecasts; mitigate risks.
• Support commercial activities including subcontractor management and cost reporting.
• Foster safety, quality, collaboration and continuous improvement.
