Job summary

Zenviron is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major wind farm in the Hunter Region, NSW. Initially based in our Newcastle office, you will coordinate engineering, procurement and planning activities before transitioning to site delivery.

You will lead civil work packages including earthworks, drainage and roads, review drawings and specs, coordinate subcontractors and site crews, and ensure safety, quality and schedule are met across the project

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as Project Engineer, Civil Project Engineer or Site Engineer delivering civil works.
• Experience with earthworks, drainage, roads, pavements or concrete structures.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, construction methods and engineering docs.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts.
• Team player with strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or major projects is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of civil construction works across the project lifecycle.
• Manage civil work packages including earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations and pavements.
• Assist with planning, scheduling and resource coordination to meet programme.
• Review drawings, specifications and documentation for compliance and constructability.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site crews to milestones safely and efficiently.
• Manage RFIs, design changes, non-conformances and project documentation.
• Support cost control, forecasting and progress reporting.
• Monitor construction quality, inspections and completion documentation.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks and support problem-solving on site.
