Job summary

Zenviron is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major Wind Farm project in the Hunter Region, NSW. Initially based in our Newcastle office, you will support engineering, procurement and planning activities before transitioning to site during the construction phase.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering civil construction projects.
• Experience with earthworks, drainage, roads, pavements and foundations.
• Ability to review drawings and documentation for constructability.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site crews.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or major construction projects is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of civil construction works across the project lifecycle.
• Manage civil work packages including earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, and services.
• Assist with planning, scheduling and resource coordination to meet programme.
• Review drawings, specifications and documentation for compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site crews to milestones safely.
• Manage RFIs, design changes and project documentation.
• Support cost control, forecasting and progress reporting.
• Monitor quality, inspections and completion documentation.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks and drive safety and continuous improvement.
• Foster culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
